Mr. Halstead is the director of Strategy and Business Development at SkyBridge Tactical. He has a tremendous amount of time living in and traveling throughout Asia, Latin and South America, Africa, and Europe.
He brings 13 years of experience as a business executive in the government services sector. Prior to joining SkyBridge Tactical he co-founded and served as the COO for a company where he was responsible for devising and implementing the corporate strategic plan, which resulted in 2060% aggregate growth. He orchestrated all corporate functions across five primary business units, supervising each of the units Vice Presidents. Immediately after retiring from the military he worked for several large government service providers. He progressed up into positions of increased responsibility and fiscal duties, as a Program Manager in Special Activities Programs.
Mr. Halstead served in the U.S. Army Special Operations Command for twenty-one years. His first assignment was to the 2nd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment. He spent the next fifteen years in U.S. Special Forces. First in Okinawa, Japan in 1st SFG(A), then in 3rd SFG(A). He commanded joint strike operations and developed and implemented successful COIN operations during multiple deployments to the Middle East.
In addition to strategy and business development, as an experienced and recognized Africa expert, he is also the Skybridge Tactical Program Manager for our largest contract award – AFRICAP III. His previous work in Africa includes projects which required coordinating, fusing, and focusing the efforts of the U.S. DoD, DoS, Other Governmental Agencies, NonGovernmental Organizations, and foreign Ministries of Interior, Defense, and Foreign Affairs.
